Windows Server Engineer Job at Computer Enterprises, Inc. (CEI)
Summary: CEI is hiring a SCCM administrator for one of our clients in the technology industry. The Windows Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation and support of Windows Server based operating systems and various applications, hardware and software platforms. Regular job responsibilities will involve supporting a variety of technologies, customer and team driven projects, handling trouble tickets on a priority basis, lifting/moving heavy server and other related equipment, participation in tasks related to helpdesk and desktop support service orders required to meet customer needs, and supporting international business units. Some travel may be required. A comprehensive performance management plan will involve the identification, discussion and implementation of personal and business related objectives and goals aimed at career and team development.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 10 hr shift
- 2nd shift: 2pm-12pm
- On-site training in Wilmington DE then hybrid schedule after training.
- Contract to hire
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- To communicate with technical and non-technical individuals and teams
- Work in a fast paced and dynamic production environment
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Handle multiple tasks and projects with various and changing levels of priority
- Work irregular hours and on call rotation to meet business requirements
- Strong customer service focus and sense of urgency
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, organized, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel internationally a real plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Microsoft Windows Server technology for a minimum of 3 years
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (protocols, software & HW components)
- Minimum of 3 year's experience in deployment, large amount of servers, patching, monitoring and SCCM.
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline is required
Other Experience:
- SCCM Software Delivery / Unattended installation
- Patch Management / Windows Software Update Services
- Windows Deployment Services / Remote Image
