Wholesale Equipment Sales Job at Shoppas Material Handling Inc
The primary function of the Wholesale Sales Representative is to develop dealer to dealer and independent wholesale relationships to market equipment that does not meet SMHU standards to sale retail in APR. In addition – assist TM and CSS to obtain fair market trade values for customer owned units. Must have good communication skills and provide world class customer service.
Essential Functions:
- Purchase equipment for immediate resale.
- Purchase equipment for Used & Rental Department.
- Appraise and identify equipment at customer call request.
- Bid potential trade-in equipment for new equipment and used equipment retail sales.
- Travel to customer locations to appraise equipment.
- Assist in appraisal of off-lease equipment.
- Assist all departments with the identification on Non-Toyota models and year and manufacture.
- Collection of funds and shipping of equipment sold.
- Continuous search for new customers in North, Central and South America.
- Sell current wholesale inventory and incoming equipment.

Physical Job Demands:
- Long period of sitting, frequents trips throughout facility, and/or customer locations..
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Must have 3+ years’ experience in material handling equipment or heavy industrial equipment.
Special Skills Needed:
- Must be computer literate, able to determine equipment values by visually inspecting, operating and driving equipment at SMH and customer locations.
