Wilson Health is looking for a direct hire Wilson Health Medical Group RN or our location in Sidney, Ohio (North Dayton, Ohio) area.

Position Reports to: Director of Wilson Health Medical Group
Department Description: Wilson Health Medical Group network consists of more than 50 healthcare providers. Our physicians and Advanced Practice Providers offer the care to meet our communities medical needs with offices conveniently located throughout the region.
Job Summary: The Under the direction of the physician, the OB Coordinator will assess the obstetrical patient and provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services for this patient.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Makes an assessment of and determines patient’s health related needs. The patient population would include the adolescent patient and the young-middle aged adult patient.
  • Educates the patient, under physician supervision, on topics related to their medical condition.
  • Administers medications per physician’s orders and performs various diagnostic testing such as, but not limited to: UA’s, venipuncture, NST’s and ultrasound.
  • Communicates physician’s orders to various entities and departments as well as to patients and their families.
  • Update medical record, including medications and allergies, ensuring medical record is legible, accurate, concise and appropriate.
  • Communicates with patients regarding laboratory results while educating the patient and their family in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Will be required to perform quality control on medical testing equipment, as well as, maintaining logs of said controls.
  • Assists in filing, fax and phone management as opportunity allows.
  • Goals/Accomplishments achieved this performance period.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned within scope of responsibility.
Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or Current license as a RN in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience in the care of the obstetrical patient preferred.
