Marioff North America (Marioff, Inc), a business unit of Marioff Oy and part of the Carrier Global Corporation, is searching for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Western Region, with our growing Land Business team, selling Marioff HI-FOG water mist solutions. Marioff specializes in providing water mist solutions to several different vertical markets including, but not limited to Data Center, Cultural Heritage, Power Generation and Distribution, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas (POG), Food/Industrial Cooking, and Industrial Manufacturing, just to name a few.
Marioff is the world’s largest supplier of water mist fire protection, pioneering high pressure water mist technology in the early 1990’s and helped establish the standards for water mist fire protection. Marioff continues to build upon its history of success, developing leading solutions in close cooperation with local and international regulatory authorities. About this role
We are looking for a Western Regional Sales Manager, whose region will be the Western U.S. and Western Canada, who has experience building and growing business by working with sales channel partners, end users, AHJ’s, Architects and Engineers, and other key influencers. This would include developing and executing sales strategies for assigned region and accounts, while also monitoring and reporting results against plan to colleagues and senior management on a regular basis.
In this role, you will use your selling and problem-solving skills, strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities and excellent communication skills to develop plans and strategies to establish, maintain and grow regional sales of company product, solutions, and services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth and expansion into assigned region and accounts for new and existing base, working independently and with other Regional Managers and our Applications Engineering team, channel partners, specifying engineers, Authority Having Jurisdiction, other internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage complex project pursuits from discovery to close
  • Advise, coach and assist channel partners in their sales pursuit activities
  • Coordinate activities in order to specify product, increase awareness, and grow market share of our product and application solutions
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with customers by reinforcing quality, innovation and solution selling
  • Develop and manage “pipeline” to track on-going project opportunities, providing timely forecasting guidance, while maximizing revenue and other key metrics for the region.
  • Plan and organize sales visits and provide regular reports, market information, overview of competitive forces and influences, and customer feedback to the company
Basic Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product sales
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, technical field, or engineering discipline preferred
  • Experience in sprinkler sales
  • Knowledge of the fire protection industry and basic of water-based systems such as water mist and sprinklers is preferred
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Self-motivated with the ability to follow up on issues and progress in order to meet leadership expectations
  • Distribution/channel territory development experience
  • Experience in preparing and presenting technical and sales presentations to distribution, end users, the A&E community, contractors, and other key influencers
  • Capability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Knowledge of how to present ideas and strategies clearly to diverse audiences, leadership, and decision-makers
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task, and follow through on an assignment without redirection
  • Initiative, enthusiasm, organization, and creativity, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Knowledge of Webex, MS Teams, and other similar online platforms to host meetings and presentations remotely when needed
  • Comfortable and able to travel in order to meet business needs

Pay Range:
$105,750 - $148,250 Annually
