Welders: Structural Steel
We have full-time, permanent positions available for welders in our manufacturing facility located in Augusta, Maine. We use Lincoln DC 600, Miller XMT 450, Lincoln Flex Tec 650 and 450 welders with .045, .052, and 1/16 solid wire. We also use Flux Core on occasion.
Candidate must have an AWS certification or equivalent or be able to pass the Cives in house weld test.
1st shift: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (i.e. 5- 8 hr. days)
2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM (i.e. 4- 10 hr. days)
Cives Steel Company is one of the largest fabricators of structural steel in the US. We are a major supplier of steel for high-rise buildings in Boston and throughout New England.
Our Augusta office provides the engineering, detailing and fabrication necessary to complete these projects.
Benefits are as follows:
· Wages - $23.56 to $23.84 per hour plus $0.65 premium for 2nd shift
· $.50 per hour premium for those with ability to conduct fitter & welder duties
