Job Summary: A Welder should have MIG welding experience, familiar with Carbon Steel and able to pass a Weld test and Physical. A Welder should be able to cut and join metals with precision from technical drawings and verbal instruction, and able to work with welding tools and equipment and operate power and hand tools. TIG welding, a background in Carpentry, previous experience in Machine operating, Brake Press, Saws, and familiar with Stainless Steel and Aluminum are all very helpful in this Welding role, but not required.

Must haves:

• Welding experience or education
• Must have knowledgeable of MIG welding processes
• Passing Weld test is required
• Able to work individually with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of working with welding tools and equipment.
• Skilled in operating power and hand tools.
• Able to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature.
• Able to read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Able to lift in excess of fifty pounds.
• Knowledge of safety standards and willing to use provided protective PPE (Eye Protection, face-shield, gloves, Helmet, Ear protection-optional, etc.).
