Full Job Description

We need an experienced designer that can deliver amazing detail work to our development team. This is a busy fast moving job, you will be asked to jump project to project designing websites, banner ads, social post and much more. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, flexible, organized, and a great team player.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create promotional graphics, email hero images, homepage graphics, etc. for a wide range of clients utilizing the established guidelines.
  • Help make design choices (e.g., fonts and colors) for all content your company will use.
  • Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed and work with other creative team members to produce content.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience with Figma is highly desirable
  • Maintain SEO friendly and consistent file naming conventions and file structures
  • Understand project deadlines and schedules to prioritize timelines
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders about layout and design.
  • Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop.
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements when necessary.
  • Mastery of industry-standard software to create logos, design reports and complete other projects.
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier and Corel Draw experience are a huge plus!
  • The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices and drive projects across the finish line.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  • Ability to interact professionally with coworkers of all levels in a fast-paced e-commerce environment while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and edit site images
  • Design webpage layout
  • Determine technical requirements for images based on industry best practices
  • Update website visual elements
  • Design Social and Banner Ads
  • Design and execute layouts/marketing assets for homepage features, landing pages, digital marketing, social media, site banners, packaging, product labels, newsletters, mobile, email blasts, etc.
  • Produce and edit infographics.
  • Produce the design and production for websites, product graphics, web logos, social media graphics and banners, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates. While some projects may require directing external resources, the role is expected to be hands-on.
  • Provide design support to other business lines to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar offline graphics.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED TITLE:

  • Graphic and Website Design: 3 years (required)
  • Adobe Photoshop: 2 years (would be great)
  • Must provide image portfolio for review with application
  • Dynamic personality who can build trusting relationships at all levels of the organization and create and sell a vision.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $42,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
