WebApps Developer, Senior Job at GEM Technologies Inc.
GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Senior WebApps Developer to join our team. This position is full-time and will serve the Los Alamos National Laboratory in a fully remote capacity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or software engineering and 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience as a full stack engineer on both front and back end.
- 7+ years of proven experience designing and developing web applications.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with .Net/C#.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with React.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with .Net Core specifically.
- Ability to work in a CI/CD workflow with Git.
- Understanding and experience with databases such as SQL and Oracle.
- Experience with unit tests as well as frontend testing.
- Excellent Coding Skills and strong proficiency in web technologies.
- Experience with Agile development and knowledge of SDLC process.
- Excellent Communication skills.

Overview:
- Perform software application development support, database development and administration, software quality management, and enterprise application consulting.
- Provide custom application development, commercial off-the-shelf application implementation, database administration, and adoption/integration with Software as a Service solution. SAE-2 supports business processes for financial, personnel, procurement, and human resources IT systems.
- Working alongside some of the brightest minds, you will work with a team using agile development methodologies that support existing custom and COST applications.
- Develop and enforce data modeling standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with customers and colleagues.
- Provide knowledge transfer to technical staff.
Clearance & Citizenship Requirement:
- To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
- Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.
