Web Picker/Packer I - 1st Shift Part Time Job at Build-A-Bear Workshop
Following direction from respective Supervisor and Lead, the Web Store Bear Builder is responsible for assembling orders placed by guest. The involves picking/packing, stuffing, sewing, and dressing the “furry friends”. This is a seasonal Part-time position for 1st shift (Saturday - Sunday 6:00 am to 2:30pm).
Position responsibilities:
- Assembly: Assemble orders in a timely manner. Follow specific directions for each order to meet 100% guest satisfaction levels. Use radio frequency (RF) guns to locate, pick and replenish product. Pick/pack merchandise according to procedures. Stuff/sew/dress the "furry friends". Review completed orders for accuracy. Identify and correct any product issues while building order.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Education: High school degree or equivalent
Experience: Entry level. 1-2 years of distribution/fulfillment experience preferred.
Ability to walk/stand/talk/hear 8 or more hours per day. Must be able to stand/walk the majority of the shift. Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently. Ability to use hands, fingers, reach with arms, stoop, kneel and bend.
Attention to detail; customer-service orientation; Ability to read and speak English fluently. Looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable to change, self-disciplined and open to coaching/supervision.
