POSITION PURPOSE
Our wealth management officers are responsible for the administration, risk management and servicing of assigned fiduciary and investment management accounts, and for the development of new client relationships.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 or more years of experience in Trust administration.
- Professional Designation is preferred and may include, but is not limited to: CTFA, CFP, JD, CPA and/or Graduate of National Trust School.
- Broad based knowledge of banks and banking procedures is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of State and Federal banking regulations /requirements relating to trust administration and investment management.
- Knowledge of financial institution trending in operations and business management.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel & Power Point.
- Strong project and information management skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills.
- Well-developed customer service skills.
- Strong relationship, sales and new business development skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages client investment portfolios in line with investment committee’s guidelines and within the confines of State, Federal, and IRS regulations.
- Directly performs and/or monitors reporting, taxability, and other general accounting functions for fiduciary and/or trust accounts.
- Responsible for all estate work which includes locating and placing assets on record, filing court report and tax returns, collecting life insurance, preparing distributions, and working with family members.
- Assigns and maintains account fees accurately and to ensure profitability.
- Represents and promotes the bank in key community activities, including business, charitable, civic, and social organizations. Always portrays positive image on behalf of Bank.
