Beltservice Corporation has an immediate need in our St. Louis Headquarters for one full-time Waterjet Technician. This position is on 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.) with training on 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and is a great opportunity for the right individual to become experienced in flash cutting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate waterjet and similar cutting equipment to cut rubber and plastic materials.
• Load machine program and locate material per order requirements.
• Verify that parts meet order requirements.
• Mark and package parts per standard instructions.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Consistent job or education history.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Proven experience in fabricating conveyor belt, or similar work with measuring, hand tools, and equipment.
• A mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to train on the 1st shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Legally eligible for employment in this country.
