Civil Water Design Project Manager

Location: Arvada, CO

Salary: $90,000-$125,000 DOE

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Professional Engineer (PE) with 4-8 years of experience in municipal wet utility pipeline design to join our team as a Civil Water Design Project Manager. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of gravity sewer systems and have experience leading a team of engineers in the design and plan production process. The candidate should also be detail-oriented and have experience managing interns or new graduates.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 2-4 younger engineers in the design and plan production for a gravity sewer system under a progressive design build contract
• Be responsible for the creative problem solving of the entire system, not just a singular pipeline currently being designed
• Coordinate with 2-3 teams working on the design at any given time and be flexible in day-to-day tasks
• Have experience with C3D, specifically with pipe networks (gravity), plan production tools, profiles & profile views, pipe network & alignment labels, and be able to assist younger engineers with tools and best practices of C3D in regards to gravity sewer design
• Be responsible for the delivery of the design and construction support for 64 miles of gravity sewer pipeline

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 4-8 years of experience in municipal wet utility pipeline design with a background in gravity sewer
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and be flexible in day-to-day tasks
• Experience managing interns or new graduates
