Experienced Railyard/Warehouse Worker with Go-Getter Attitude & Teamwork Skills Needed!
The General Warehouse Workers performs tasks around heavy equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to move freight from in the warehouse. The role must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, and work in hot or cold weather. The Warehouse Worker completes paperwork, ensures tasks are completed safely and on time, and must make decisions regarding the transfer of incoming and outgoing inventory. The role should be able to follow written instructions.
Pay Rate:
- $15hr
Working Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00am to 4:00pm daily
- 1hr lunch break w/ 2 15min breaks
Job Requirements:
- Working on rail cars (chocking, sealing, etc.)
- Banding of pallets
- Manual movement of some lumber pieces and banding
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or railyard.
- Excellent physical condition and coordination.
- Not afraid of heights or tight spaces.
- Ability to work independently and safely, following company guidelines.
- Ability to work in a team environment, be a team player.
- Ability to apply practical understanding carrying out simple instructions.
