Warehouse Associate
(Associated titles may include material handler, forklift driver, crane operator, warehouse worker, shipping & receiving clerk, slab warehouse worker)
Allied Stone is the largest importer and fabricator of natural stone counter-tops in Texas and Oklahoma. As a Warehouse Worker you will be responsible for unloading and loading flatbed trucks and other deliveries. You will also be required to pull or move material for planning or production purposes.
Specific duties as a Warehouse Associate may include but not limited below:
Material handling of stone from location to slab view/sold rack.
Complete the loading and unloading of flatbed trucks.
Load and unload consumables.
Maintain cleanliness and sweep work areas as needed.
Operate overhead cranes and forklift in a safe manner.
May be required to tag and identify slab products as needed.
May be required to pack and prepare samples for pick up and shipping.
May be required to record and document incoming or outgoing product.
Perform all other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds, stand and walk for entire shift.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
Prior warehouse experience preferred
One-year forklift experience helpful
Able to work independently
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
Ability to work under time constraints
Position may have overtime
