Our Pet Segment is seeking a Warehouse Support Associate to be a part of our Norton’s Division out of Ruskin, Florida. Your primary role will be to receive live tropical fish, as well as being trained to pick and pack freshwater fish to fulfill all sales orders presented by the sales department. MEASURES OF SUCCESS

• Cleaning /scrubbing the insides of fish tanks on three levels.
• Unpack and put bags of fish in tanks.
• Pulling dead fish.
• Hand stacking boxes on pallets.
• Loading trucks with a pallet jack.
• Lifting and dumping small amounts of water from holding tanks.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

• Ability to bend at the waist.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to kneel often.
• Ability to scoop fish with a small net.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is performed in a warehouse environment Sunday through Thursday each week.
• There may be some variation in work hours due to overtime, special projects, deadlines, and other concerns.
