Title:

KBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced exciting environment as a Logistics Specialist, to support the Multi Mission Data Link System (MMDLS) for the Navy’s DDG program at NAS Patuxent River, Webster Outlying Field MD. This work is with a high op tempo team working on innovative technologies to maintain superiority in support of Air Warfare and Surface Warfare mission areas.

This is an SCA Position, 21410

Position Description:

Performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Task involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting, and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. Validating inventory against record data base, compiling system kits, generating DD FORM 1149 shipment records. Operate hand or power trucks and forklifts in performing warehousing duties.

Required Experience:

• At least two (2) year of warehouse experience, to include: performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material.
• operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment.
• utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar-coding system for entry.
• identification and tracking of material.
• Demonstrable experience performing the duties of the labor category as described in the Department of Labor functional description.

Desired Experience:

• Posse effective oral and written communication skills, experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Familiar with Navy Supply system, DD FORM 1149 and National Stock Number.

Required Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Security Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
