ROLE SUMMARY

Receives deliveries and puts away pet products in warehouse. Rotates product with expiration dates. Staff works in the capacity of Receiving-Food and / or Receiving-Accessory.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

• Excellent attention to detail and focus is a must to ensure accuracy and quality. Position requires an order accuracy rate of 97% or higher.
• Complete necessary paper/computer work accurately.
• Unload product from shipments; inspect for damage, contamination, correct product(s), and correct quantity.
• Rotate product with expiration dates
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse.
• Provide a high level of customer satisfaction with clean, accurate, and damage-free orders.
• Regular attendance
• Onsite presence

• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Must be organized, cooperative and a team player.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Able to safely operate and become certified in the operation of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, walk-riders, electric pallet jacks, shrink-wrap machines and pallet jacks.
• Lifting up-to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Standing/walking for duration of shift.
• Temperature varies based on weather conditions.
• Warehouse environment is not 100% dust-free.
• Use of warehouse equipment including pallet-jacks, walk-riders, forklifts, etc.
• We work until the job is complete. Full-time employees are expected to work necessary overtime as required

Starting Wage

· 1st Shift: Start time is 5am, Monday – Friday, $15.55 per hour
