We are hiring a Warehouse Operator (FT-Overnights) in Milton, DE.

The Warehouse Operator will assist with the daily functions of the warehouse including but not limited to, shipping, receiving, put away, inventory, keg line and pallet and keg repair to ensure orders are selected and loaded for customer delivery within company designated time frame.

What You'll Brew:

• Must be able to work with a team-oriented, “Safety First” approach
• Safely, efficiently, and effectively work to attain department and brewery objectives
• Must observe and practice all Department/Brewery Safety Procedures
• Including the proper use of all PPE, this may include but is not limited to; bump caps, safety shoes, hearing protection, and eye protection in conjunction with all GMP regulations
• Safely and accurately operate equipment including but not limited to; multiple stretch wrap machines, single and double wide (double forked) forklifts
• Must be receptive to working in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships with others
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and make recommendations to the process
• Perform required tasks to ensure customer orders are pulled and ready for delivery to meet customer needs
• Ensure warehouse/assigned areas, are kept in compliance with company safety standards. Including, but not limited to: sweeping the warehouse, removing garbage, pallets, and debris from the building and placed in the proper areas
• Ability to accurately utilize SAPB Warehouse Management System
• Load/Unload trailers and railcars
• Monitor palletizers, will need to possess some minor mechanical skills and troubleshoot
• Shipping and Receiving
• Keg line duties requiring FL operation as well as line monitoring
• Assist in hand stacking of product on pallets as needed
• Assist other operators and departments in training and/or repair work as needed
• Communicate with coworkers, face to face, Brewery phones, and radio. Must carry radio as required
• Work overtime as needed which may require 12-hour days, weekends, and holidays
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
• Proper use of fork truck, charging, inspection & care of fork truck

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with all team peers and customers
• Must be available to support shift, weekend and holiday schedules as required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be flexible and shift priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment
• Self-starter, proactive
• Proficient with Computer systems. Must be able to learn and accurately utilize SAP Warehouse Management System
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms
• Demonstrated ability to be successful in a collaborative team environment
• Highly effective multi-tasker; resourceful with a “get-it-done, can-do” attitude
• Must be able to work assigned shifts as needed
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate Fork Truck
