Job Description:
Alta Gama Foods is based in Kyle, Texas. We connect international specialty food producers through the right channels to expand their availability in the United States. We provide import, warehousing, distribution, wholesale, and e-commerce fulfillment services. We are looking for a Customer Operations Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Set daily, weekly, and monthly goals and objectives
• Supervise all receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations
• Ensure the warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times
• Maintain physical condition of equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
• Receive products daily to replenish inventory
• Make sure inventory is stocked appropriately at all times
• Weekly and monthly inventory counts
• Manage stock levels
• Generate purchase orders to reorder products.
• Package and ship orders as necessary
• Manage and oversee daily orders delivery operations
• Deliver orders on time. (Central Texas, Rio Grande Valley, Houston, and Dallas
• Generate and send clients’ invoices and EDIs
• Regularly review personnel and operating activities, directing the resolution of related difficulties.
• Merchandising of products when delivered.
• General warehouse maintenance

Requirements:

• College Degree Preferred
• Must have at 1+ years of supervisor experience
• Must have 2+ years of experience in customer service
• Reliable transportation
• Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse
• Previous warehouse or driver experience
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must have basic accounting and administrative knowledge.
• Ability to build relationships with and supervise others
• Strong customer service orientation
• Time management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Flexibility – the ability to effectively adapt to change
• Valid driver's license and an excellent driving record
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles
• Must be sales driven, energetic, and motivated to succeed

Pay: $18 / Hour
