The Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining the daily operation of the warehouse while overseeing warehouse associates, shipping, and receiving schedules, inventory control, and proper reporting of all system needs. They shall coordinate with all department managers to identify weekly needs of products along with the weekly objectives.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse according to OSHA standard
- Direct workflow to satisfy production requirements efficiently with customer satisfaction being primary
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency. Supervise, organize, and direct, warehouse personnel while managing operational goals
- Implement and manage the cycle count program ensuring inventory accuracy. Reconcile inventory counts
- Develop warehouse operational systems; determining product handling and storage requirements, inventory management, shipping and receiving
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics for all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Review and prepare workflow, manpower and space requirements and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
- Ability to implement lean objectives in the daily operations and employee culture
- Coordinate customer shipments and supplier receipts
- Collaborate with Production/Operations/Marketing departments on weekly objectives
- Coordinate with Warehouse Lead on daily goals
- Assess, verify, and report discrepancies identified by Lead
- Report weekly finished goods cycle count to Operations in an effort to identify system discrepancies
- Report raw material cycle counts per department requests
- Verify stock transfers between warehouses
- Identify areas of improvement, create and implement standard operating procedures
- Work with leads to identify and improve efficiencies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
