Warehouse Manager Job at Generation Genius, Inc.
Looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee the manufacture and shipping of science kits for kids. We fill bottles, measure out powders, add labels, and ship them from a warehouse in Canoga Park, CA.
The operation is growing very fast, we add more warehouse workers every ~2 weeks. The right candidate should be experienced in growing a warehouse operation from its early stages (that includes manufacturing/production). This is a very fast-moving startup environment where things change and grow weekly.
Pay:
- $65,000 - $75,000 per year
Tasks:
- Improve floor productivity (including collecting & analyzing data).
- Schedule and oversee warehouse team (10-60 ppl over time).
- Hire and train new staff when needed.
- Implement operational policies and procedures.
- Motivate, organize, and discipline staff.
- Plan ahead (additional equipment, better processes, more storage, pickups, etc.)
Required experience:
- 5+ years managing a warehouse operation that involves production/manufacture (managers of shipping only operations are not the right fit at this time).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
