Warehouse Loader Job at Approved Freight Forwarders
Approved Freight Forwarders located in City of Industry, has an immediate opening for a warehouse loader to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses forklift and warehouse experience.
Hours: 1-10pm Monday-Friday
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Break down pallets in warehouse
- Utilize an RF scanner to pick orders/read pick orders (loading manifests)
- Load and unload containers
- Follow all safety procedures while performing heavy lifting and operating warehouse equipment
- Operate a forklift
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- Have a positive, can do attitude
- Ability to work 1-10pm
- Ability to pass all company pre-employment checks including pre-employment drug screen
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of forklift experience
- An understanding of weight distribution
- Experience in Distribution, 3PL, warehousing
- Experience with RF guns/scanners
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sit, stand, bend or crouch for an extended period of time
- Ability to lift 50lbs. unassisted
