MDG Flooring America is a local leader in providing floor covering needs in Medina, OH. We offer in-home service and are very experienced in the commercial area. We are experts trained in flooring sales and design and will help you find the perfect floor for the way you live. We are looking to add a results-oriented Warehouse Associate to our growing organization. Our ideal candidate will have flooring warehouse experience and wants to grow with us.

Experience (preferred or required):

• GED and/or HS Diploma required
• 1-3 years of previous warehouse experience required
• Experience using warehouse equipment tow motors, carpet cutting machine, pallet jacks, etc. required
• Tow motor training and certification required
• Clean driving record required
• Lifting up to 75 lbs required
• Strong working knowledge of Google Docs/Suite and MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks and vehicles
• Ensure proper documentation is used in all daily aspects of warehouse
• Oversee materials in warehouse loading area
• Administers packing slips
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of warehouse
• Enter data in business software ERP system
• Receive material acknowledgements from showroom
• Handle W/C – will call material
• Cut material only if customers pick up material
• Answer/return/follow up phone calls, emails, and texts
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with all parties involved
• Willing to learn the industry and help us maintain and grow our marketplace position
• Attend business meetings and trainings as required
• Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
