Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate for 1955 Services in Fletcher, NC is critical to servicing our customers by maintaining the highest level of efficiency and production in a warehouse and distribution environment. This is a full-time position, with overtime opportunities.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform all warehouse processes that support inbound and outbound paper operations
• Follow all processes to report common daily discrepancies or issues (shortages/damages) to Manager or Order Management
• Pick, verify, stage and prepare outbound orders as necessary and according to the 1955 Services Order Pulling process
  • All picked orders are to be checked for accuracy ensuring that the unit-of-measure picked is equal to the quantity ordered
• Receive inbound freight according to 1955 Services Receiving process
  • To include; inspecting inbound freight for damage and reporting or rejecting items, confirming SKU numbers and quantities, putting freight away in assigned locations in an orderly fashion
  • Create customer tags and submit all paperwork for entry into our computer system
• Reporting any discrepancies on inbound or outbound freight to Warehouse Manager and Administrative Team
• Perform basic housekeeping on a daily basis
  • To include; throwing away trash, sweeping warehouse and cleaning break area
• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocol
• Safely operate all necessary equipment according to 1955 Services safety protocol
• Interact with Sales and Administrative Teams when needed to complete tasks

Education & Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
• Forklift experience is a plus, but will train

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
• Position may require climbing of ladders

Available Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm

Hourly Pay Rate: $18
