Wait Staff (Casual) Job at Lotte Hotel Guam
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Receives assigned service area from a supervisor at the start of the shift.
- Preparation and setup of the work area, including table and bar preparation.
- Checks table settings for proper presentation and completeness, and checks service tray stations for adequacy for supplies for refill or replacement purposes.
- Greets guests upon arrival and escorts them to a table, balancing the customer flow among the service stations, taking into account requests for a particular table or server, depending on availability.
- Assists with seating as appropriate.
- Takes orders and serves guests food and beverage from the written menu in a formal F&B outlet environment.
- Serves meals to guests, according to established rules of etiquette, working in a formal setting.
- Presents menu to guests, suggesting and upselling food and beverages, appropriate wines, spirits, and other drinks, and answers questions regarding food preparation.
- Relays order to kitchen and serves food and beverages from kitchen and service bars.
- May garnish and decorate dishes prior to serving.
- May serve guests from chafing dish and live station at table.
- Observe guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when the meal has been completed.
- Totals bill and accept payment or refer guests to the cashier.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-the-house including all tables, chairs, floors, windows, and restrooms.
- Restocks dining room with silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and linen and maintains adequate supplies in the workstations when the dining room is opened.
- May assist other service staff in serving tables during rush periods.
- Removes dirty dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table. Replaces used dishes and silverware for the next guests and resets vacated tables. Restocks condiments if needed. Returns dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware, and other items, placing them in the prescribed area for proper disposition.
- Performs all other duties assigned.

Experience:
- Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
