Position Summary
Gravity Haus Real Estate Platform ("GH Platform" or the "Platform") invests in experiential hospitality real estate properties operated by Gravity Haus. GH is responsible for underwriting investments in new properties, it currently manages a portfolio of six properties with a mission to greatly expand the number of properties in the portfolio.
The VP of Operations and Investor Relations will manage the information, reporting, communication and overall relationship with investors of the Platform. The role is a crucial link between back office (accounting, legal, tax, etc.), Gravity Haus Operating Company, the Managing Partners of GH Platform and Investors. This individual is in charge of managing investor databases, generating and distributing reports to Investor and Loan providers, and supporting Managing Partners in fundraising activities. This position is directly responsible for the operational integrity, reporting, and communications to investors. This individual will improve utilization of our investor portal system InvestNext and is responsible for the overall administration and success of operations.
The position reports directly to the Platform’s Managing Partners.

Three or more years of experience in Investor Relations, Fund Operations, middle office

A College degree (ideally) but work experience will be considered.

Position Description
The VP of Operations and Investor Relations is responsible for performing and completing the following functions to the highest standard:

Optimize and manage Investor Database, communications, and reporting.

Expand and institutionalize existing and potential investors' access and marketing.
-
Help develop and execute a communication strategy with investors.
-
Centralize distribution of all communication and reporting to Investors.
-
Optimize the use of our data management and communication system Investnext for reporting, tracking and fund raising purposes.
-
Manage Investor Relations institutional email account.
-
Track investor process and follow up strategies with potential investors.
-
Ensure proper reporting from Operating Company and back office to generate reports and communications to investors and lending partners.
-
Monitor and review financial and operational information presented by the Operating Company to the GH Platform.
-
Coordinate as needed between Property Operating Company and Platform’s accounting and legal teams.
-
Help design reports to investors and loan providers.
-
Generate Investor Reports including financial performance, covenants, tax forms and capital accounts.
-
Design and execute process to issue and distribute quarterly and annual reports, marketing communications, tax forms and capital accounts to investors.

Ensure information flow from the back office and Operating Company to Managing Partners and Investors.

Ensure proper depository of all Investor’s legal agreements through our database management system.

Support Managing partners with everyday activities including pipeline of new properties, new investments and other portfolio management and administrative tasks.

Weekly communications with your Managing Partners.

Support the needs of existing investors by coordinating with client services of the properties.

Constantly seek to drive quality, systems and performance results.

Assist in positioning, marketing and lead property revenue management strategy.

Develop quality controls and KPIs quarterly and ensure all team members are aware and on board.

Monitor all standards to ensure they are enforced.

Support and coordinate regulatory and compliance teams related to Investors

Control expenses responsibly.

Ensure daily operational procedures are carried out consistently and to the standard of Gravity Haus.

Actively look for ways to reduce waste and overall reduce the overall environmental impact of all operations.

Be aware of project management for any construction or renovation projects.

Support and grow direct bookings by existing and potential investors.

Work with partners and the internal marketing team to increase the opportunities for press coverage, social media influence, and other forms of paid and unpaid marketing and ensure marketing reaches investor base.

Exhibit strong communication throughout the Gravity Haus community and with partners.

Ensure all accounting is timely and responsibly processed: vendor invoices, payroll, reimbursements, filing, copying, etc.

Act as a professional leader of the business, culture, and community at all times.

Assist in all areas of the operation on an as-needed basis.

Be familiar with the entire Gravity Haus family of businesses.

Form strong positive working relationships with management personnel.

Performs other tasks as assigned by senior leadership.

This role comes with a high degree of flexibility, with the ability to work from any location but being based in Colorado is preferred. However, given the nature of the role, you may be expected to travel to connect with investors, team members and ensure they are feeling supported, assess service quality and engagement levels, and execute training.
