PERI is currently looking for a VP of Finance to join the PERI family! As the VP of Finance, you will provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team within the USA. The VP of Finance will manage the processes for financial forecasts, budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reports. The VP of Finance will be a key member of PERI USA's Executive Leadership Team.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Work with Senior Leadership and department heads to align financial planning with organizational goals.
• Lead strategy and execution across all financial functions including financial reporting, internal/external audits, budgeting, cash management, month end close, and day-to-day accounting processes
• Develop and maintain the highest standards of financial management and create processes to support our current and future goals and objectives.
• Implement processes, frameworks and systems that allow us to capture and utilize timely and accurate data across the business to make better decisions.
• Work with PERI Market Unit to ensure financial processes and procedures US regulations and follow worldwide standards.
• Participate in Senior Leadership and Market Unit Finance meetings to develop growth strategies and ensure alignment.
• Oversee and maintain relationships with external partners that support the accounting and finance infrastructure
• Build and mentor Finance and Accounting team through the implementation of systems, processes, internal controls and policies.
• Identify risks and opportunities through the lens of the financial community and make appropriate recommendations as to further the aggressive growth of the company.
• Forecasting the impact of business decision and expected outcomes on all financial results.
• Monitoring financial and economic information to identify trends and indicators that may impact business operations, planning, investments, and so forth.
• Communicating financial operational performance with all stakeholders, including senior leadership and PERI Market Unit.
• Manage Insurance portfolio and USA property portfolio.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Exceptional financial management, analytical, reporting, problem-solving, time-management, communication and organizational skills
• Strategic thinker who possesses the exceptional interpersonal skills needed to effectively share and engage the entire organization in the key financial drivers of the company
• Strong business acumen – working knowledge of asset management, working capital efficiency, and credit insurance and factoring
• Experience and working knowledge of contract negotiation, corporate insurances, and property management
• Ability to initiate and drive change and have the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, growing environment
• Results-oriented and data-driven mind-set
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to make difficult decisions
• Proven work experience as a senior Financial Leader (VP of Finance/Head of Finance or other senior role)
• Public accounting experience and CPA Certification desired
• Ability to travel Domestically up to 30% of the time
• Understanding of Germany GAAP desired but not required
• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relevant field
