VP/MD, Acquisitions Job at Stockdale Capital Partners
The focus of this role is to direct the firm’s efforts to evaluate and assess potential real estate acquisitions and divestitures, and development and re-development of assets, to maximize profitability for the firm and its investors. This includes involvement in all phases of the development and/or redevelopment of properties from the time of initial due diligence and site acquisition through stabilized occupancy. The position will partner in the oversight of construction, renovation, property management and asset ,management of the real estate portfolio of the company.
This is a key strategic and leadership position requiring strong business, real estate and legal acumen, advanced leadership, and analytical skills, as well as well-developed external relationships with broker and others in order to source listed and unlisted potential investment opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *
- Direct all efforts to research, evaluate, and analyze options and information leading to optimal decision-making related to real estate acquisitions.
- Assist in management of a real estate acquisition team with the goal to develop and maintain a pipeline of acquisition and development opportunities.
- Responsible for preparing or coordinating the coordination of well-written and documented packages for development, acquisition, and disposition activities.
- Negotiate all relevant purchase and loan agreements and coordinate with legal counsel to finalize all necessary legal documents and structuring to execute an acquisition.
- Assess feasibility of potential acquisitions including property condition, entitlement probability, financial and market analysis, initial product identification, environmental studies, engineering, and land use studies, etc.
- Responsible for working with construction management team to manage and oversee the planning and entitlement process, including representation before municipal and other regulatory boards, working with land use attorneys, land planners, architects, engineers and other consultants, and local officials.
