What You'll Do
The Vice President, Organization & Talent Development (O&TD) for Global Supply Chain will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, Global Supply Chain.
The Vice President O&TD will help design and deliver strategies that improve organizational effectiveness and enable SBD Global Supply Chain to be a market & industry leader, resulting in accelerated growth and thriving team members. The incumbent engages at all levels of the organization. S/he ensures accountability for results and effectiveness. This role will be responsible for global organizational development, culture stewardship, and employee engagement strategy and programming. The incumbent will utilize their extensive experience, strong intellectual curiosity, and a highly collaborative approach to identify, design, and deliver impactful strategies.

What You'll Do

This role will be responsible for global organizational development, culture stewardship, and employee engagement strategy and programming. The incumbent will utilize their extensive experience, strong intellectual curiosity, and a highly collaborative approach to identify, design, and deliver impactful strategies.
The Vice President, O&TD be and will be responsible for the following duties:
- Partner closely with leaders at all levels to support and guide effective organizational planning and design
- Assess organizational capabilities, processes, structures, and talent within and across the enterprise
- Collaborate closely with the Global Supply Chain HR leadership team to identify and deploy strategies within and across workgroups while establishing frameworks and tools to apply consistency across the business
- Provide tools and resources for organizational effectiveness and change readiness to enable effective workforce planning
- Develop a deep understanding of key talent within the organization to promote talent sharing across all Global Operations
- Design leadership and development programs that will build the next generation of high-potential talent through implementing a process for early identification and identifying career accelerator assignments.
- Drive and execute succession planning within the organization, focusing on critical roles, developing talent maps, and driving follow-up on development plans and actions.
- Identify strategic talent acquisition needs and a proactive strategy for talent gaps and strategies to address them externally.
- Lead global organizational and culture change initiatives to strengthen the culture, agility, and shared accountability
- Lead the people KPI metrics process, including tracking and reporting on the metrics needed to ensure solid talent management decision-making, including diversity.
- Provides leadership and programming to foster a collaborative and inclusive culture within the Global Supply Chain organization, including implementing a site-level focused ERG/Inclusion Center model.
- In collaboration with Global Supply Chain HR Leadership, ensure that goals for the organization are set annually, well-communicated, and all individual goals are appropriately integrated up, down, and across the organization.
- Lead a high-performing team of 5
- Serve as the key liaison to corporate, driving central initiatives into the function.
Qualifications & Experience
The individual will also possess the following experiences/competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related discipline or Associate Degree with 10+ years of work experience in HR or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of previous experience in a variety of Human Resource Manager/Client HRM positions with an increasing scope of responsibility
- Prior roles in organization and talent development, preferred
- Prior experience across multiple business units and functions, managing through different business cycles
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR strategic agenda using knowledge of the organization and its employees
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change through strong influencing and change management skills
- Ability to support and coach senior leaders when appropriate
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Strong assessment skills coupled with excellent judgment and perspective on human resources issues.
- Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively interface and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization developing learning programs, communicating with senior management, and facilitating teams
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to think outside the box and passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
