Role Summary/Purpose:
The VP of Consumer Bank Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for the successful program management and execution of initiatives and growth opportunities that support the long-term strategy of the Consumer Bank. This individual will work closely with the VP of Consumer Bank Strategy and Initiatives Leader, and will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute customer focused solutions including user-requirements, tactical actions, and to manage the successful implementation according to approved timelines and budgets. This role will report to the SVP Head of the Consumer Bank.
The incumbent must have specific experience in Deposits transactional products with cross-functional and cross-channel strategy and execution, and possess strength in innovation and strategic thinking, and build support to execute.

Essential Responsibilities:
Lead individual or program of strategic projects and proactively own process improvements and identify areas of improvement and innovation
Partner across cross-functional teams to translate strategies into targeted actions and programs resulting in growth, and design approaches to measure success once implemented
Collaborate and influence cross-functionally to secure approvals for prioritization of projects
Proactively seeks ways to increase efficiency, speed to market, and collaborates to drive optimal solutions
Communicate project and program status across workstreams and functional teams including management of presentations as needed
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of financial services experience with the ability to translate business objectives with digital, technology and operational capabilities
In lieu of a degree, 11+ years of financial services experience with the ability to translate business objectives with digital, technology and operational capabilities
Minimum of 5 years of Consumer Banking Deposits products servicing (fraud, operations, digital) across checking, savings, checking, debit, CD and IRA (FDIC insured) products
3+ years of project management experience leading multiple programs/projects simultaneously
2+ years experience in Agile methodologies

Ability to travel when needed
Grade/Level: 13
The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Some positions are bonus eligible.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
