Who we are:

UMFS is a nonprofit organization that provides a comprehensive array of programs to support children, teens, and parents as they work to overcome challenges. We equip families with tools for success so they can achieve their goals. As a national leader in helping young people and families, we also proactively identify unmet social services needs and develop the necessary partnerships to address those needs.

What we do:

Our regional centers offer individualized treatment for children and teens who are being placed out of home and have special emotional, behavioral, or medical needs. Our youth and families are supported by a collaborative team of specially trained clinical staff and foster parents, who provide daily behavioral health interventions that align with each child’s individualized treatment plan.

What we are looking for:

A Volunteer and Community Coordinator that is responsible for identifying, engaging with, and coordinating with community partners and volunteers to support kids and families in UMFS Community Based Programs. The Coordinator will coordinate and lead all volunteer and community engagement for TFC, ICC, and Adoption Programs.

This is a part-time position with up to fifteen hours per week.

What you will need:

1-2 years of experience working with volunteers, community groups, or a customer service focused environment. Must have strong organizational skills. Skilled in providing exceptional customer service.
