Join our Commodity Markets & Finance (“CMF”) Team as a Vice President of the LATAM Private Credit. In this role, you will leverage your current client relationships, credit skills and passion for building a business within our CMF team to help us continue to grow our structured credit product and increase our presence in the Latam region.

To be successful in this role, you will have industry coverage experience in energy or commodity finance, a strong technical credit and lending or investment background and understanding of financial analysis, structuring, documentation and execution of debt transactions. Fluency in Spanish and familiarity with local regulations and markets in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru is required.

Working within a fast-paced environment, you will enjoy a varied role where no day will be the same. Your focus will be on the origination and execution of private credit transactions focused on energy and commodities and voluntary carbon projects across the Latam region. In this role, you will work in a client-facing, revenue generating role with PNL accountability, to identify, structure and promote our lending and voluntary carbon products and services.

You will bring to this role:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a relevant major, MBA a plus
• A minimum of 7 years of lending, structuring, investment or investment banking experience covering Latin America
• A strong diverse client base with a demonstrated deep relationship at all levels of the organization
• Experience in delivering client solutions by deploying balance sheet
• Strong background in credit analysis
• Lead documentation negotiations with clients and internal support staff such as legal, credit and operational risk teams
• Strong detail, analytical capabilities and communication skills
• Global view of the international markets and deep local knowledge within each of the targeted jurisdictions
• Strong knowledge of financial commodity markets and experience origination in this market
• Understanding of energy transition and voluntary carbon

Salary range for this position: $150,000 - $250,000/Yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
