The Role
The Vice President, Digital Marketing at Force Factor is a proven leader who embodies an ideal balance of strategic thinking, creative prowess, and tactical execution to help further accelerate Force Factor's rapid growth. The individual in this role is responsible for driving Force Factor's brand communication efforts across all digital channels, working to regularly meet and exceed revenue and profit targets.
He or she must be entrepreneurial, data-driven, collaborative, resourceful, and inspirational, building and leading a best-in-class team of highly engaged digital marketing specialists focused on reaching millions of consumers in increasingly innovative, efficient, and persuasive ways.
Force Factor's digital marketing is designed for performance and accountability, and the individual in this role will be expected with his or her team to deploy full-funnel, direct response consumer acquisition campaigns with a demonstrably positive ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a visionary, energetic leader, building and managing a team of highly motivated marketing specialists to constantly improve and scale RoAS-accountable campaigns
- Relentlessly pursue growth and performance, thinking creatively and working resourcefully to reach and convince more consumers to buy Force Factor products
- Leverage data and analytics to deliver outsized campaign results, constantly asking how information technology can create an unfair competitive advantage to win more sales
- Partner closely with internal and external creative resources to develop compelling assets that convincingly communicate the brand story and product benefits
- Manage strategic agency partnerships to extract optimal results, ensuring the right objectives are being executed in the right ways, and source new partners as needed
- Continually identify new advertising platforms and related technologies that can be utilized to improve the reach, scale, and performance of digital campaigns
- Work with social media marketing colleagues to capitalize on social proof at scale, repurposing influencer-created content to extend and optimize paid social campaigns
- Ideate ways to increasingly reach new consumers for the brand, growing not only consumption and brand loyalty, but also household penetration
Ideal Qualifications
- 8+ years of B2C digital marketing leadership experience for a consumer-focused brand – ideally one in the consumer packaged goods industry, preferably in consumables
- Expertise hiring and developing teams of exceptional marketers capable of exponentially increasing the results produced by Force Factor's digital campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to drive full-funnel strategy and execution, with not only a willingness to be hands-on, but a passion for it and proven track record doing it
- Capability to quickly and thoroughly assess business realities and objectives, plan efforts accordingly, and mobilize resources to efficiently and effectively achieve success
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, both for internal collaboration purposes, as well as to convincingly persuade and motivate consumers
- Deftness in working cross-functionally, extracting value from colleagues across the organization at all levels to continuously improve digital marketing performance
- Aptitude for quickly solving problems and overcoming challenges using smart solutions that seek to turn negatives into positives that shrewdly improve upon the status quo
- Prowess for thinking creatively (inside of the box, outside of the box, on top of the box – wherever) to drive Force Factor's digital marketing efforts to become industry leading
- History of making sound judgments and mastery of rational, evidence-based thinking, combined with humility, adaptability, integrity, resiliency, and insatiable curiosity
- Fluid ability to adeptly navigate minute details along with the big picture, while remaining impeccably organized, open minded, and always willing to learn
