Overview:
VTG is seeking a Vice President, Business Development to support in Virginia Beach, Va or San Diego, Ca.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and prospective customers, influencers, and industry partners. Locate or propose potential business opportunities.- Screen potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, customer requirements, market potential, and financial considerations; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.
- Enhance the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Acquire new opportunities/projects. Initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market.
- Identify and understand customer requirements and resulting business opportunities.
- Support the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams.
- Develop draft proposals based on internal team collaboration.
- Assit in maintaining the Business Development databases. Communicate business development activity via the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Support marketing activities, including trade/ scientific shows, meetings, etc.
- Track strategic partners relationships and actions, coordinate with Contract Dept on
NDA’s/TA’s/PO’s/Contracts.
- Support internal metrics and forecasting.
Strong leadership skills to assist in capturing work.- An analytical individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to interface with people at all levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge of government and commercial proposal processes.
- Good organization skills are necessary to manage many pursuits simultaneously.
- Self Starter and possesses the knowledge and experience to execute responsibilities with limited supervised direction.
- Demonstrated credibility within the C5ISR community for ISEA support
- Ability to make formal presentations on corporate capabilities/products/services.
Other Qualifications
Travel: 25-50%; must be willing to travel to national and international destinations.
