Veterinary Assistant Job at All About Animals Veterinary Clinic
AAAVC is a fast growing clinic looking to hire a highly motivated individual to add to our team. Previous veterinary experience is preferred, but not required. The position will offer part- time or full-time hours. We are willing to work around a college student's schedule. The candidate must be willing to be added to our rotating weekend roster. $7.25 to $11.00 per hour based on experienced.
Key job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Restraint of dogs and cats
- Have the physical strength and ability to stand for an entire shift when needed, and be able to lift pets and objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance. Assist in lifting patients weighing more than 40 pounds.
- Assist Veterinarians and Vet Techs with patient care, treatments, and surgery
- Clean and maintain hospital areas and equipment
- Provide basic husbandry to boarding and hospitalized patients
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients
- Perform end of day cleaning tasks
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $9.52 - $9.96 per hour
