BluePearl Town Center, in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a full-time veterinarian hospitalist experienced in emergency medicine to join our specialty/ER hospital.

As the hospitalist, you would be managing our hospitalized patients that need further testing, treatments and/or monitoring. We are looking to expand our current service due to the high in-patient volume, caseload and growth of the ER and specialty services. You will be working closely with our specialty clinicians which include: Internal Medicine, Surgery and Oncology.

Our Blue Pearl Town Center hospital is located in Virginia Beach, VA. The 14,000 square foot facility has been newly renovated and is open 24 hours, 7 days a week and offers a variety of services, including round-the-clock emergency medicine, cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery. We offer a number of advanced treatment and diagnostic services, including a 64-slice CT scanner, telemetry, ultrasound, digital radiography and GI endoscopy. The atmosphere not only promotes outstanding patient care, but also learning and growing with training programs through Blue Pearl University and Blue Pearl Science.

Our hospital has a collaborative, positive, efficient and encouraging work environment in a great location. We strive to provide the most up to date techniques to maintain cutting edge veterinary medicine. The support staff is highly skilled and maintains the highest quality of medicine. Our facility is located within a few miles of the oceanfront as well as downtown Norfolk. The city is even listed in the Guinness Book of Records as having the longest pleasure beach in the world. Every year, the city hosts the East Coast Surfing Championships as well as the North American Sand Soccer Championship.

The lively boardwalk has plenty of restaurants, nightspots, and amusement rides. Sports enthusiasts will find celebrated golf courses in Virginia Beach and the surrounding area, as well as sea kayaking and miles of hiking trials. The City of Norfolk is home to the Norfolk Tides ' the AAA team for the Baltimore Orioles, and the Norfolk Admirals ' an ECHL professional hockey team.

Not far from the facility, we have the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts where the Virginia Symphony Orchestra performs along with the Ballet Virginia International. The Museum of Contemporary Art is also within a few miles. The City of Norfolk offers both cultural and sporting events year round. Both the Chrysler Museum and the Chrysler Center are located within minutes of downtown. Nearby attractions include Busch Gardens, Williamsburg and Water Country.
