VENDOR RELATIONS SPECIALIST Job at Club Champion Llc
JOB SUMMARY: This position will focus on various supply chain and warehousing aspects that can include but are not limited to vendor relations, on-going vendor-facing activities, inventory management, and SKU management. This position will assist our Purchasing and Facilities teams with a full catalog of Club Champion Golf materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinates strategic planning with Club Champion Golf vendors to ensure efficient practices are achieved.
- Manages and organizes vendor warranties from submission to fulfillment.
- Be the vendor product liaison by managing Material Life Cycle, SKU maintenance & Internal Procurement needs.
- Initiates and maintains the timely and accurate collection of vendor documents.
- Tracks and reports on new vendor activity as dictated by management.
- Administers and manages PreBook (new item) and Demo needs, including PO creation and receiving.
- Participates in weekly vendor meetings.
- Develops strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to support the vendor management process.
- Identifies process efficiencies and workflow improvements and escalate proposed solutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Accounting, or Equivalent
- 2+ years experience in supply chain
- Retail experience is a plus
- Sports or Golf experience is a plus
- Netsuite experience is a plus
- Salesforce experience is a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement technology and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
- Achievement of goals and continuous improvement of purchasing KPIs
- High level of analytical ability to produce and interpret data and suggest or implement a course of action.
- The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
- Understanding of computerized inventory control systems
- Problem Solving
- Strong Negotiation Skills
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized
