Valued Drafter/Designer Job at David Watkins Design LLC
I am seeking a driven, creative and collaborative person to join my established design firm. I value insight, critical thinking and an ability to work and communicate well with others. I've found the best projects are achieved through effort and connection. The position will be drafting at a minimum, and higher-skill tasks depending on what is brought to the table by you. Most projects are typically in Santa Barbara, with some in LA and out of state.
I believe in equity and value the lives of all my employees. Work comes after Life, and that's why I am encouraging a position that is remote. The position will be mainly remote, with the occasional meetings via Zoom or in-person (minimal).
Hours and days of availability are open and can be negotiated as long as you are consistent, reliable and can offer at least 10-20 a week.
Pay: $35/hr min, but higher available DOE.
Location: Santa Barbara County and/or Ventura County, with a 75 mi radius (can include Los Angeles).

Occasional joke-teller
Archicad, Revit, Autocad or Vectorworks
Photoshop, In-design or Illustrator are great, but not required.
Can draft & send an email & use a phone
Knows and uses spell-check
