SUMMARY
Responsible for the operation of the industrial vacuum truck and the street sweeper.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Upkeep of the parking lots, entranceways and stable areas clean and debris free.
- Operate and maintain industrial vacuum truck and street sweeper.
- Vacuum storm and sanitary sewer tanks and cleaning maintenance of these systems as needed.
- Rake and vacuum straw/manure and other debris on property.
- Vacuum storm sewer catch basins.
- Barn maintenance, grass cutting and weeding as needed.
- Snow and ice removal.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Facilities Manager then to the Director of Maintenance.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- The ability to operate and maintain a multitude of vehicles including but not limited to: Street sweeper, vac truck, mowing equipment, skid steer, maintenance equipment and trucks.
- Knowledge of sanitary and storm sewers.
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment for the task.
- Ability to recognize/remedy safety concerns and utilize all personal protective equipment as required.
- Time management & priority setting and work independently.
- You must be at least 21 years old
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- You must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
REASONING ABILITY
The ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- You will need to be able Sitting/Standing, Lifting, Kneeling, Bending, Walking/Stretching, Pushing/Pulling, Climbing/Reaching for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
