Job Description:
Our User Operations team is focused on bringing a world-class experience to our users. We're looking for a self-motivated analyst to lead in deepening our understanding of our users' experience through the feedback they provide us and the way they interact with our platform. You will be responsible for creating processes and reporting to highlight learnings around users' general engagement with TikTok as well as feature-specific interactions. Your work will play a guiding role in shaping decision-making around product iteration and how we communicate with our users. If large data sets excite you, you have a track record of creating narratives that drive action and you thrive in working through ambiguity, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do:
Experienced analyst. You have 1+ years experience in a data science or analytics role. You have intermediate SQL proficiency and are able to write efficient and well-structured queries on large data sets.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $76000 - $128000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

- Collaborate with front-line teammates to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Work with a diverse array of data sources from both internal and third party platforms to enable robust data analysis
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative datasets to generate impact-driven recommendations for cross-functional partners including User Support Product Operations, and Product Teams.
- Utilize data visualization and descriptive statistics to connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded insights for scalable and intuitive reporting.
- Develop automated reporting by ensuring data quality through documentation and providing quality assurance of delivered insights.
- Communicate insights with technical and non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing.
