Job Description:
The Student Affairs division at Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applicants for an Upward Bound Academic Coach. The Academic Coach will monitor academic progress of Upward Bound participants on an ongoing basis. The coach will serve as a point of contact for recruitment of students and as a liaison to school personnel. The chosen candidate will maintain records and student contacts while supporting ongoing progress of academic and personal goals.
Advertised Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience
Minimum Requirements:
College degree, work experience in education, psychology, counseling, or related area with at least 2(two) years of experience working with disadvantaged students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Organization skills, computer skills for collecting, reporting and documenting services.
