Hill View Montessori Charter Public School, a free public Montessori school located in historic Haverhill is seeking a Classroom Assistant for an Upper Elementary (grades 4-6/mixed ages) classroom for the 2022-2023 school year. This is a salaried, full-time position, with all benefits.

This is a full-time position and can be a fantastic stepping-stone opportunity to future professional opportunities at Hill View Montessori. (Several of our current classroom Lead Teachers began as Classrooms Assistants at HVM and then gained experience and received formal training in the Montessori education philosophy, pedagogy, and curriculum. ***Hill View Montessori will pay for your Montessori teacher training and certification!)

The Classroom Assistant supports the Lead Teacher, prepares and maintains the academic, social, and community environment, and assists children while the Lead Teacher is giving lessons. Other responsibilities are determined by the Lead Teacher. Experience working in a Massachusetts public school is also a plus!
