ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST

Black Rock Advanced Medical Imaging is seeking candidates interested in a part-time OR full-time position as an Ultrasound Technologist/X-ray Technologist. DUTIES:

• Perform safe, efficient, and consistent diagnostic Ultrasound and x-ray imaging exams.
• Function as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Perform related administrative and ancillary duties including completing necessary forms and paperwork pertaining to patient examinations; assisting with pre-authorizations; appointment scheduling; payment collections.
• Maintain radiologic equipment and sonographic functionality and necessary diagnostic imaging supplies.
• Perform daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA).
• Maintains patient records and files; proficient use of the PACS, EMR and other systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision unless direct supervision is required.
• Comply with HIPAA and other federal, state, and local regulations as well, as maintain highest degree of confidentiality in client and staff matters.

HOURS: Flexible; We are willing to work with you! We are open Monday through Friday, no call, weekends, or holidays.

ENVIRONMENT: This position is an outpatient imaging clinic. This position performs tasks that involve Category I exposure to blood borne pathogens, body fluids or tissues. Exposure to patients’ conditions and some unpleasant sights, smells and diseases are common. Must be able to wear full PPE provided by the company. Opportunity to fill in at a highly acclaimed orthopaedic office in the event of limited staffing. Technologist friendly x-ray equipment at both locations.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

• Associates Degree or higher from an accredited Radiologic Technologist school
• ARRT license (valid and continually maintain)
• Wyoming Radiologic Technologist license (valid and continually maintain)
• BLS certification (current and continually maintain)
• Professional attitude and compassion for patient care
• Proficient computer and keyboard skills
• Team attitude
