The Tubing Operator is responsible for ensuring our guests are having fun while being safe. This position is front lines to our guests laughs and giggles while they slide down the hill. Assisting in loading/unloading guests and tubes, monitoring machinery, checking passes and keeping the hill running smooth are just a few aspects of this role.
Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long. Responsibilities:

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

Procedures include checking of drive and return terminal machinery, stops, speed controls, indicator lights, switches, brakes, etc.

Ensure guests get themselves and their gear on lift safely by assisting in loading onto moving surface and explaining procedures to inexperienced passengers.

Maintain an orderly crowd flow in the lift and lane lines.

Ensure all guests have and are wearing the proper ticket.

Aid guests getting off the lift by watching guests exit the lift and give assistance to those who need it.

Monitor the operation of the lift continually, corrects problems by notifying supervisor or lift maintenance of problems or unsafe conditions.

Provide superior service to guests (internal and external) by following resort etiquette guidelines while interacting with guests.

Be knowledgeable of resort services in order to be able to respond to guest inquiries.
- Shoveling of snow is sometimes required.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Customer service experience, both in person and on the phone preferred.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment.
