Clover Farms Dairy has been in business for over 80 years bringing fresh pasteurized milk from Pennsylvania dairy farms to our local community! We are looking for a motivated truck loader to assist our supply chain logistics and delivery departments.

The typical day for our Cold Room Truck Loaders requires sorting finished product loads, operation of fork lift, pallet jack, and/or hand wrapping equipment to secure pallets of product. Our truck loaders are extremely important to our processes at the distribution center in Levittown, PA. The truck loader is tasked with communicating with dispatchers and the supervisors to ensure the proper product is loaded to trailers and straight trucks to be delivered to the customer. You would be responsible for reading load sheets and bill of ladings, picking product to fill an order, and staging the product in front of dock doors in the warehouse to be loaded by yourself or your coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand product descriptions, packaging and pick tickets.
• Safely operate various pieces of high speed equipment and/or forklift, pallet jack, etc. (Company will train and certify if necessary)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with machinery or equipment operation and partner with maintenance staff to resolve issues.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives in order to increase platform performance.
• Assists in training new employees as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have previous warehouse experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs as required by the position
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
• Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms.
