Position: Truck Driver (CDL A)

Boyd Station LLC. is seeking to hire an experienced, motivated Truck Driver to join our team in Danville, PA. Boyd Station is Family owned and operated. Our drivers are home daily and enjoy a positive working environment and family atmosphere. The Driver is responsible to load, transport, and unload both feed and grain commodities, as well as bulk liquid vegetable oil to the customer. The Driver will assist in providing high quality customer service to the Customer, while following all company safety policies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible to load, transport, and unload bulk feed and grain commodities the customer in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring safety of the vehicle.
• Drive in a safe manner, maintain proper company image while on the road and at customer locations.
• Understand the limitations of an Overweight permit and deliver loads of a gross weight up to 95,000 lbs.
• Assist, when able, with repairs to equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Possess or obtain a bulk liquid tanker endorsement.
• It is the Drivers responsibility to maintain cleanliness of their vehicle.
• It is the Drivers responsibility to monitor vehicles inspection requirements and report to Management.

Equipment:

• Day-cab tractors with a manual transmission.
• Bottom unload hopper trailers.
• Smooth bore, bulk liquid tankers.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
• Good driving record
• Air Brakes Endorsement & ability to operate a CMV with a manual transmission
• Minimum of 2-Years driving experience
• Successful completion of DOT physical and drug screen
• No DUIs in the past 3 years
• Background in agriculture is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Employee should possess a positive attitude, work well with others, and be a team player.

Schedule & Benefits:

• 1st Shift: 5:45 am start time
• Weekly: Monday through Friday (occasional weekend deliveries offered)
• 8-11 hour days (average 45-50 hour work week)
