Explore Industries is seeking a Trim and Detail Specialist for our Knoxville, TN location that grinds, repairs, and cleans molded fiberglass pools and spas using hand tools and portable power tools. Makes repairs as necessary.
The Trim and Detail Specialist performs tasks such as trimming and grinding all rough fiberglass and making necessary cuts and through holes for assembly installation. He /she checks flange of molded parts with thickness gauge to determine if more grinding is necessary and examines fiberglass finish for defects, and repairs, as necessary. This can involve drilling, patching, repainting as we all as smoothing surfaces with sandpaper and buffs finish. This position also applies putty to ground-out areas to repair surfaces and keeps work area clean and follow safe practices.
