• Prepares each job in accordance with work order or verbal and written instructions.
• Performs inspection of completed product in accordance with company standards.
• Operates shop equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
• Uses all appropriate personal protective equipment when working on a job.
• Ensures the correct product is being used on each work in progress.
• Moves finished products to appropriate area.
• Reports problems or discrepancies to supervisor or management.
• Notifies supervisor or management of equipment malfunctions, injuries or related occurrences.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Performs daily maintenance of shop equipment.

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
