The Operations Manager is responsible for helping the General Manager and management team oversee all aspects of the park, including maintenance, inventory and cleaning procedures of the park, supervising staff and assistant other managers in their job duties, but will specifically help to market our business and grow sales.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Local marketing- including assist with outbound and inbound marketing activites by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, event planning, community outreach, etc.)
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creating marketing campaigns
  • Liason within the community to execute promotional events and campaigns, as well as plan group events
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, email, phone calls, school events, etc.)
  • Provides courteous customer service and responds to customer’s questions, complaints or requests. Direct any unresolved issues to the General Manager
  • Assists supervised staff in their job performance during peak activity periods or as required
  • Maintain an image of competence and professionalism to customers, employees and management
  • Maintains proper employee/employer relations and address any questions in a timely and open manner, including disciplinary actions, recognition and performance evaluations
  • Provide or perform other services or duties as required by General Manager
  • Manage cleaning and maintenance of park including daily, weekly and after-hours cleaning plus upkeep and repair of park and attractions
  • Manage inventory of parts and cleaning supplies
  • Manage payroll
  • Maintain an image of competence and professionalism to customers, employees and management
  • Maintain proper employee/employer relations and addresses any questions in a timely and open manner, including disciplinary actions, recognition and performance evaluations

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience managing and motivating a team of young employees strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

REPORTING

Reports to park General Manager

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Grapevine, TX 76051: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
