Training and Sessions Facilitator - Workplace Readiness Training Job at IWSI America Inc
Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Training and Sessions Facilitator to help prepare students with social and interpersonal skills needed in any employment setting through Workplace Readiness Training. As a Training and Sessions Facilitator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering online and in-person Workplace Readiness classes and summer camps to school-age individuals and job seekers in Los Angeles County and potentially other regions in California. This position requires the ability to travel and deliver classes remotely and in person.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver online and in-person Workplace Readiness classes and summer camps to school-age individuals and job seekers in Los Angeles County and other regions in California.
- Provide individualized services that match the specific training needs of each student, including training in technology literacy, developing transportation plans, job-seeking skills, and strengthening communication and interpersonal skills.
- Make sessions engaging and interesting for students, including those with special needs, and personalize the learning experience even if delivered in groups.
- Conduct classes in community integrated settings, after school, in the evening, or on the weekend to accommodate students' schedules.
- Deliver summer camps in person, with some training in person and some online as a group.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and program outcomes, and use this data to develop strategies for program improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or related field.
- At least two years of experience working as a trainer or facilitator in a related field.
- Experience designing and delivering Workplace Readiness Training is preferred.
- Interest in and experience working with individuals with special needs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
